PROJECT: My Flower Box EVents - Website Development
My Flower Box Events began as a retail floral shop in 2005. The initial shop was very large and had a large walk-in cooler for customers as well as many retail items for sale. The original owner, Kim Tyson always dreamed of having flower shop. In traveling to Europe in late 90’s and spending time in Holland, she wanted to bring the European influence of a “fresh picked garden style” bouquet to her new flower shop. The flowers in Holland were amazing and she was impressed with the huge bouquets that were sold in local markets on the cobble stone streets of Amsterdam.
Packaging and presentation was also very important. My Flower Box wanted a pretty logo that could be elegantly displayed on tissue paper. My Flower Box desired to be recognized as a “brand” as a customer was walking down the street holding a bouquet of flowers from My Flower Box in the urban neighborhood of the first shop.
